Adjacent to a small farm and chalet and our 5 acres of woodland, this site is a perfect stop-over, or ideal base for exploring all that Glasgow and Southern Scotland has to offer. Edinburgh, Stirling, Perth, Clyde Coast, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park are all less than an hour away.
P+R/Bus service into Glasgow 1/2 mile away and convenient Rail Stations are within 2 miles.
Families are welcomed, but there are no facilities for children, there are at Drumpellier Country Park which is only 3 minutes drive away and has excellent children’s play facilities, a loch walk and miles of signposted trails etc.
Within 3 miles are the Time Capsule Waterpark/Ice Rink, and the [excellent, free] Summerlea Museum of Scottish Industrial Life, plus golf clubs.
Cheap fuel and two excellent Retail Parks nearby for shopping/restaurants without going into the City.
There are smaller shops, supermarkets, takeaways &c within 1 mile.
